During the year, following more than 12 months of curatorial reserach, the company delivered Performance Art Land 2025 across various regions of Wales. It commissioned four artists, two Welsh, one Chinese and one Japanese, who worked with more than 15 professionals in Wales. The four projects were curated and produced specifically for their sites and professionally filmed. The edited films were shown at Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff and Glynn Vivian Art Gallery in Swansea, and internationally at Fotografiska in Shanghai and Mori Art Museum in Tokyo. The programme benefited the community by creating opportunities for collaboration between Welsh and international artists and arts professionals. The site-specific projects connected contemporary art with places in Wales, while the screenings made the resulting artworks accessible to audiences in Wales and overseas and supported international cultural exchange.
